Gauteng Premier Mbhazima Shilowa said yesterday he would not be requesting a commission of inquiry after allegations of misconduct were levelled against the Gauteng department of agriculture, conservation, and environment. The department's MEC, Khabisi Mosunkutu, and some of his officials were accused of approving developments at the expense of the environment.
