Security guards get two years’ pay after being fired for being women

Despite not knowing much about their African Champions League opponents US Tamponnaise, Platinum Stars' coach Miguel Gamondi is preparing for a bruising fight against the team from Reunion at Olympia Park Stadium in Rustenburg at on Sunday at 8pm.

Having had an easy ride against Lesotho Correctional Services in the first round, Gamondi knows that US Tamponnaise will be a different proposition, having beaten their first round opponents, St Michel United of Seychelles.

Gamondi, who had an Absa Premiership clash against log leaders Ajax Cape Town last night, was anxious about of injuries.

l Mamelodi Sundowns will come up against Curepipe of Mauritius in another Champions League game at Super Stadium on Saturday 8.10 pm;

l Ajax Cape Town hope for a good start in their Confederations Cup campaign which begins with an away game against Anse of Reunion on Sunday.
