The latest development in Cosatu is dividing the movement of the workers.
The Cosatu leadership should not take disciplinary action against Numsa's secretary general, who was only exercising his right as an ANC member when he accepted the NEC nomination from the Mbeki camp.
Numsa's Ekurhuleni region is correct to support their secretary general. We must understand that each structure in the alliance is independent. Cosatu must allow members to express their views without fear of being intimidated. This in turn will build a strong, united movement.
