Athletics Gauteng North has cancelled the Track and Field League meeting that was planned for tomorrow.
According to AGN, the national primary and secondary schools championships will be taking place on the same day. The next track and field event for the youth and juniors will be the AGN Championship in April at Pilditch stadium.
Meanwhile, the city of Tshwane will hold awareness cross country races in Soshanguve Block X from 9am tomorrow.
"The partnership will add momentum to a remarkably successful programme that was established in 2005," said Zodwa Masondo, member of the mayoral committee responsible for sports, recreation, arts and culture in Tshwane.
"It is a continuing effort to build a culture of athletics in Tshwane's communities and to assist talented young athletes to overcome the barriers that prevent them from reaching their full potential in athletics."
