It doesn't rain but it pours for Christina Molokomme, the former Limpopo police captain who was arrested after a failed plot to have her husband eliminated by hitmen two years ago.
Molokomme's husband, Phillip, said yesterday that he has filed for a divorce because he could not stomach what his wife had tried to do to him.

He escaped death by a whisker when police set up a sting operation during which his wife was arrested.
The incident happened on December 18 2006 at the couple's home in Flora Park, a leafy suburb in Polokwane.
The woman had allegedly hired two men to kill her husband.
This was after she had allegedly established how much her husband was insured for and the exact amount she stood to gain in the event of his death.
One of the two men who was allegedly hired to carry out the hit was a police informer.
The woman had allegedly given them her service pistol to use in the murder.
According to the plan, the would-be assassins were to gain entry to the couple's home by using the keys she would have left inside a post box.
Upon entering the house, they were to hold Molokomme up, tie him up and drive towards Gauteng where they were to kill him with his own service pistol.
They were then to dump his body in the bushes.
After her arrest, she was declared mentally disturbed and was referred to the Thabamoopo Hospital in Lebowakgomo for psychiatric evaluation.
She was later declared a state president's patient because of her mental instability.
"It is true that I have filed for divorce. We will be appearing in the Lebowakgomo magistrate's court tomorrow, where a decision will be taken," said Molokomme yesterday.
Police spokesman Senior Superintendent Motlafela Mojapelo said yesterday that Christina Molokomme had been dismissed from the police service.
