While we deeply sympathise with the situation Stitch finds himself in, we need to emphasise nonetheless that his statements about his dying are not helpful to the national campaign to promote Aids as a chronic disease rather than a terminal condition.
It is fact that with early detection and appropriate treatment therapy, many people have come to terms with living with the disease and lead productive lives today.
