Since the introduction of the first Volkswagen Kombi more than two decades ago, its popularity has never waned.
The VW Kombi has come a long way to what we have today.
When it was introduced for the first time, the Kombi was close to one of the most desirable vehicles ever if you had a family.
The current generation Kombi is much more appealing than the first "bread bin" generation from the early 1980s. The modern styling and design on the inside offers the feel of a large family sedan.
Our test model had done 60000km which makes one think that there might be some usage marks on the exterior as well as the interior.
We have all seen used car advertisements saying "must see", well, in this case I was also forced to say that you must see this one.
The vehicle is simply in good condition for a used car. The paintwork looks good and the cloth seats and plastic panels on the inside don't have too many scratches.
The high roof line makes it easy for tall passengers to sit at their utmost ease. Getting access to the back is made easy through the sliding door and a little passage to get to the last row of seats.
Some of the standard features of the Kombi include dual airbags, electric windows for the two front doors, aircon, power steering and a front- loading MP3/CD-player.
