South Africans have to accept it; we will never achieve non-racism in this country, not in the near future anyway.
I don't mean we should fold our arms and watch while our families, relatives, friends or colleague suffer. It seems that every month, if not week, we hear about some act of racism around Mzansi.
I am afraid this situation might open old wounds and a full-on racial conflict could result. Racist acts are not doing our country any good.
Instead, they are destroying our country's reputation. Come 2010 we shall be the laughing stock.
Our government, opposition political party leaders and organisations are just talking but don't act to prevent that from ever happening.
