Bay United appear to have the nerve to play in the Absa Premiership next season, but their coach, Vladislav Heric is understandably cagey about their chances of achieving the feat this term.

The Serbian mentor is tight-lipped about their chances considering that it is still tight at the top of the National First Division (NFD) Coastal Stream log.

The Port Elizabeth side is playing fantastic football and it will not be a surprise if they succeed in their mission for promotion at the end of the season.

United, who overtook Maritzburg United last weekend at the top of the Coastal Stream, have experienced players in their squad who are capable of leading them to the big-money Premiership. They are Arthur Bartman, Jimmy Zakazaka, Linos Chalwe, Gareth Ncaca and Abayomi Adebayo.

United face FC Cape Town away tonight. United go into this tough match with a depleted squad, but club boss Errol Dicks is adamant they will give the home team a good run for their money.
