Popular Soweto businessman Wonga Hamilton has died.

Hamilton, 46, was the co-owner of the popular family business - The Star butchery in Dube.

He died of kidney failure at Helen Joseph Hospital last Friday.

Family friend Dusty Nkoana said Hamilton got along very well with his customers.

He will be buried in Khayakhulu, near Rustenburg, North West. The service will be held at home from 7am. He is survived by his wife Sibongile Mampa and daughters Thembeka and Busisiwe.
