South Africa's Tsebo Mokoena returns to the tour when she takes part in the WPGA Masters at Parkview Golf Club today.

Mokoena, who spent the past year in George, will be among the world-acclaimed golfers in this event.

Also present at the course will be fellow South Africans Laurette Maritz and Ashleigh Simon, England's Rebecca Hudson and Kaisa Ruuttila from Finland.

Ruuttila, who claimed a seven-under-par victory at the WPGA Masters played at the Waterkloof Country Club last year and finished tenth on the 2007 Ladies African Tour (LAT) order of merit, will be looking for a strong finish this week.

Champions from the 2007 LAT who are back to defend their titles include South Africa's own Lee-Anne Pace, winner of the Pam Golding Ladies International, and the Acer Women's SA Open champion, Simon.

There are also more than 30 amateur entries this year, including the four top local junior stars, Dominique Jacobs from Western Province, Bertine Strauss from North West, and Chloe Garner and Hermine Greyling from Boland.
