The Spur Adventure Charity Challenge takes place at Pelindaba Game Reserve in Hartbeespoort next month.
Spur managing director Pierre van Tonder said this is the third year the family restaurant chain will make a considerable donation to hungry children, using the platform of a family adventure.
The event consists of three separate races - the Bushbaby Trail, an hour-long trail for ages 6 to 10; the nature hike, a 5-8km hike; and the adventure challenge, an introduction to adventure racing for teams of two and three. - Linda Moreotsene
