BAGHDAD - A bomb planted in a minibus ripped through a market in Baghdad's Sadr City neighbourhood yesterday killing five people and wounding 30, a security official said.
The explosion at about midday came when the market in the mainly-Shiite neighbourhood was bustling with people, the official said.
On Monday, two car bombs in Baghdad apparently targeting a meeting of tribal leaders, killed 19 people when US Defence Secretary Robert Gates was visiting Baghdad.
