The match between FC AK and Witbank Spurs on Wednesday pitted two teams from the opposite ends of the National First Division Inland Stream, with Bahumi favourites to win - but Spurs refused to follow the script .

They downed the pacesetters 2-0 in an improved performance at Ackerville Stadium in Witbank.
