Members of the provincial Standing Committee on Public Accounts (Scopa) were expected to address provincial director general Kwazi Mbanjwa and royal household department head Vusi Shongwe over the qualified audit report issued by the KwaZulu-Natal Auditor-General (AG) Herman van Zyl.
The biggest concern expressed by Van Zyl was the accumulated unauthorised expenditure of R5,898 million in the two financial years ending March 31 2007. - Sapa
