The days of being a roving bachelor are numbered for former Muvhango actor Mpho Tsedu.
On Saturday Tsedu, 34, will settle ilobolo for his 27-year-old Soweto fiancee, Mbali Hadebe, of Mofolo.
The couple are planning to have a white wedding on April 26.
Saturday's ceremony will see the two families cement formal relations as Bagotse (officially-recognised in-laws).
But the "hunk of Limpopo", as he is popularly known, would not disclose how much ilobolo he had paid.
Tsedu has paid part of the ilobolo.
"I believe the love of my life is worth every cent," he said.
Hadebe, the second child in her family, works as a consultant for an IT company in Johannesburg.
The couple met at a function in 2000. They were introduced to each other by late Muvhango actress Lindiwe "Doobsie" Cibi.
"I think it was love at first sight. I did not waste any time proposing to her. While I was waiting for her to respond to my proposal, she hugged me and gave me a passionate kiss.
"But I would be happier if Lindiwe were still alive to witness the conclusion of what she started.
"Mbali has a degree of self-confidence which makes me feel as if she is the only woman in the whole planet," said Tsedu of his wife-to-be.
Tsedu joined SABC Africa as current affairs presenter soon after leaving Muvhango, a position he still holds.
