Vaal Rand police are searching for a man who disappeared after his wife died of multiple stab wounds on New Year's eve.
Police spokesman Inspector Sabata Modupe said yesterday police were looking for Oliphant Russell Maseloane, whose wife, Christinah, died of stab wounds at Eatonside on December 31.
She had been stabbed twice in the neck, once in the right shoulder and right ear.
"Ever since the death of his wife the man has never been seen," said Modupe.
He said Maseloane should report to De Deur police station, adding that anyone with information on his whereabouts should alert the police.
Meanwhile, De Deur police are also looking for four men wanted for robbery in the area.
Two of them are Patrick Maseko and Lucky Matsile.
Modupe said the two men were employed at a Chinese restaurant, which they allegedly robbed with the two other unknown men on December 12.
"The men called their employer's wife to the store, saying there was a technical problem," said Modupe.
On arrival at the store, they tied her up with a rope and fled with an undisclosed amount of money, a firearm, two cellphones and jewellery.
The men were reported to be armed and dangerous.
"Anyone with information on the whereabouts of these men should not hesitate to inform our station," said Modupe.
