ANC squabbling is hampering good governance

A Sunday newspaper reported at the weekend that ANC president Jacob Zuma was not happy with the conduct of Mathews Phosa and other comrades and accused them of gossiping and doing things behind his back.

A Sunday newspaper reported at the weekend that ANC president Jacob Zuma was not happy with the conduct of Mathews Phosa and other comrades and accused them of gossiping and doing things behind his back.

Zuma must realise that the people he is accusing supported him during his difficult times and in his quest to become ANC president.

Who can ever forget the day Kgalema Motlanthe accompanied Zuma on one of his endless trials? Zuma has said that he is a victim of a political conspiracy and that Thabo Mbeki is victimising him with state resources (NPA). Now it appears that he will attack the NEC for conspiracy. Zuma needs to understand that putting Motlanthe in parliament will ensure that he knows what is going on in case Zuma is convicted.

What is the point of having a leadership that does not have any experience to lead 46 million South Africans? Zuma must understand that it is not only the interest of the ANC that is at stake. The people put the ANC into power and they expect quality leadership and delivery.

It is our democratic right and we have the right to punish whoever does not live up to our expectations by not voting for the them again. The nation also has the power to reward those who live up to our expectations by voting them back in power. Right now, South Africans demand good governance.
