Barely two weeks after a white youth shot dead four people in the North West, another two teenagers are in custody after shooting at a police station.

Two white males, aged 17 and 18, were arrested in Marble Hall after firing shots at the local police station on Saturday afternoon.

The two teenagers were travelling in a van. They used a pellet gun to shoot at a police station in Marble Hall. They allegedly drove past the police station while shooting randomly.

Fortunately, no one was injured during the shooting.

Police followed the two and arrested them. They were charged with attempted murder, malicious damage to property, resisting arrest and high treason.

Police spokesman Superintendent Mohale Ramatseba confirmed yesterday that the two would appear in the Marble Hall magistrate's court today on three charges.

It has not yet been established whether the shooting was racially motivated or not. Police investigations are still underway.
