TAMALE - Namibia's battered Brave Warriors are not intimidated by facing the hosts and early tournament favourites Ghana in their Africa Cup of Nations Group A clash at the Accra Stadium today at 9.30pm.

This is despite the fact that the southern African country were given a 5-1 drubbing by Morocco's Atlas Lions in their opening match at the same venue on Monday night.

John Muinyo, the Namibian team's head of delegation in Ghana, said they had fully recovered from the embarrassing defeat by the merciless North Africans and were ready to deal with whatever the Black Stars will throw at them.

Ghana are hoping to maintain their unbeaten run after a controversial 2-1 win over Guinea on Monday where some local journalists questioned the penalty decision that led to Ghana's opening goal.

"It will be a tough game playing against Ghana in their own back yard, but we are ready for them. They are playing at home and pressure will be on them and not us," said Muinyo.

"We will go out there and give a good account of ourselves, far better than the opening match against Morocco. There is no way we can leave Ghana without getting a single win."

Ghana coach Claude Le Roy is confident his side will tear Namibia to pieces.

In the first game of the day, Morocco play Guinea at 7pm.
