More artists are saying Doc Shebeleza is unscrupulous.
The mudslinging between the chairman of African Musicians Against HIV-Aids (Amaha) and other musicians continues.
Gospel outfit Avante and Thomas Chauke yesterday added their voices to Mzwakhe Mbuli's that Shebeleza's Amaha failed to meet its promises.
Linda Gcwensa of Avante said Shebeleza owed them R5000 for a 2000 performance in Mafikeng, North West.
"Shebeleza must just stop making empty promises to musicians. It is very unfair," said Gcwensa.
He said they were no longer interested in the money but they wanted the public to know that he had exploited them.
Thomas Chauke's manager, Phazamisa Mathonsi, said they had taken Amaha to court for "using Chauke's name without his consent".
"We saw his name on newspaper adverts without our permission," said Mathonsi.
Doc Shebeleza, whose real name is Victor Bogopane, has refuted the claims and called on "anyone who has a problem with Amaha, be it about money or anything else, to open a case against me".
"I do not have anything to hide and I urge any of the musicians to lay a charge against me. Then we will solve the problems in court," said Shebeleza.
Mbuli claimed two weeks ago that Shebeleza owed him a R35000 performance fee for the Social Responsibility and HIV-Aids concert held in Durban in December.
Mbuli is said to have circulated text messages to the media about the alleged mismanagement of the concert which resulted in a number of artists, including Arthur Mafokate and Robbie Malinga, spending the night in their cars.
Meanwhile, Eugene Mthethwa of Trompies said it was time for the industry to reunite.
