Cricket South Africa will now travel in style after leading car manufacture, Toyota SA, became their official vehicle sponsors.

This partnership was announced at a glittering ceremony at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg yesterday.

Both parties have signed a three-year deal and no figures were disclosed.

It also was supported by members of the Proteas team, led by captain Graham Smith.

Said Gerald Majola, CSA chief executive: "We are looking forward to a fruitful relationship with Toyota. Our cricket calendar is going to look even more impressive with Toyota on board and we look forward to bringing an even greater experience to our valued fans."

Said Andrew Kirb, the company's vice president of sales and marketing:

"We are happy to renew our relationship with CSA and hope it will go from strength to strength.

Kirb said his company is focused strongly on family values, while cricket is a sport the whole family can enjoy.
