Multichoice would like to respond to Eddie Jansen's complaints about incorrect billing, costs of the specialist bouquets, channel shuffle and PVR subscriptions.

Over the last 12 years, MultiChoice has experienced growth from 13 video channels to more than 70 channels.

The channel shuffle initiative was introduced to ease congestion within specific genres, to move channels into their correct genre, to restructure the flow of the bouquet and to create additional space to accommodate future growth.

Both the Portuguese and German bouquets have been separate bouquets since 2005. They can be subscribed to as an add-on or stand-alone option.

The monthly PVR subscription is R439,90.

Jansen also queried the disappearance of some channels. This could be due to a technical problem.

It is suggested that Jansen has an accredited installer check his current installation.

We would like to apologise for any inconvenience Jansen might have experienced and we trust that our response has addressed his concerns.

Marilyn Watson, external communications manager, MultiChoice
