Stephen Nkgadime, 30, who lived in Johannesburg but had no fixed address before he was arrested in December, is accused of killing Mpho Kgaje last July.
Magistrate Vincent Hawkins granted a postponement after a plea by Nkgadime's lawyer Advocate Marchand Kilian.
