Xitsundzuxo Remembrance Ntlhamu, the Limpopo girl who made headlines for writing books, has done it again.
This time around the talented 17-year-old from EPP Mhinga High School in Malamulele township was a high achiever in the Grade 12 examinations announced by Limpopo education MEC Aaron Motsoaledi on Friday.
Xitsundzuxo got 100 percent in business economics (400 out of 400 marks) and received a certificate for being the only student to achieve full marks in the subject.
Motsoaledi said: "Xitsundzuxo Ntlhamu, we will remember you."
Her name Xitsundzuxo also means "remembrance".
The EPP Mhinga High School pupil also achieved As in physiology, English, Xitsonga and economics.
Her results in accounting, which has always been one of the subjects she has excelled in, were outstanding .
Her principal, Aubrey Mabasa, was full of praise for the girl who has put the school in the spotlight.
"She is a very focused pupil, one who knows where she is going," Mabasa said.
He said she was the presi- dent of the student representative council and showed good leadership abilities.
"I went with her to different schools where she motivated other pupils," said Mabasa.
Her father, Ackson Ntlhamu, who is also a schoolteacher, said he felt blessed to have a daughter like Xitsundzuxo.
"I hardly tell her what to do," the proud father said. "She motivates herself, and when it comes to books I sometimes feel pity for her for devoting so much time to her studies."
Xitsundzuxo said books were her friends.
"I am an indoor person and have no friends but my books. God has answered my prayers as I never expected to achieve so much."
Xitsundzuxo is heading for the University of Pretoria, where she will read for a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting degree.
Two years ago she became a household name when she published her first book, The life in my hands is the road to success, which is a motivational book.
Last year she followed it up with a second book, Love and Forgiveness.
