After a long year that saw African Musicians Against HIV-Aids (AMAHA) and Kwaito Nation criss-cross the country in a bid to make a difference in the lives of South Africans, they finally wrap up the Ekasi S'vukile Social Responsibility and HIV-Aids National Tour gig tomorrow at Kingsmead Stadium in Durban from 10am.

Boasting full artistic fare, AMAHA and Kwaito Nation will unleash DJ Linda Sibiya and DJ Sbu Leope to work their magic on the expectant crowd.

Making their debut on the tour will be the undisputed kings of mbaqanga, the mighty Soul Brothers.

After more than 30 years in the industry they remain firmly seated on their mbaqanga throne. They will not only drop their repertoire but will show off their equally unrivalled choreography.

Dishing out spiritual nourishment will be the gospel sounds of Solly Moholo, Pure Gold and Deborah Fraser.

Showcasing the colourful homegrown rhythm that sets us apart from the rest of the world will be maskandi sensation Ihashi Elimhlophe.

Ntando, Nhlanhla Mafu, Phuzekhemisi, Judith Sephuma, Fiso, Professor noT'Zozo, Skwatta Kamp, Morafe, Ndumiso, Stimela, Mdu, Arthur Mafokate, L'Vovo, PRO, Skhova, Izintombi ZeSimanjemanje, Kofifi, Zamambo and Doc Shebeleza will dazzle the crowd with the variety of sounds that have kept township culture vibrant.

Tickets cost R100 at Computicket and R150 at the gate.

l The City of Johannesburg is throwing the biggest party of the year to usher 2008 in with a bang when it hosts the New Year in Newtown concert.

Stepping up to make this a memorable concert are Oliver Mtukudzi, Malaika, HHP, Mango Groove, Mahotela Queens, Gang of Instrumentals, Radio Kalahari Orchestra, Coda, Kwela Tebza, 1st Project, DJ Dino Bravo and a line-up of DJs and dancers, to add to the excitement of the event.
