A 42-year-old priest was arrested at the weekend for allegedly raping a 21-year-old woman in Ivory Park near Tembisa.
This had been going on for more than 12 months.
The priest allegedly tricked the woman, who is a tenant in his yard into sleeping with him saying it was the only way she could be healed.
The woman, who is at the moment pregnant is alleged to have been impregnated by the ZCC priest, who is known to the Sowetan.
The woman lives together with her boyfriend in the back rooms of the priest's yard.
The raping incidents allegedly took place when the boyfriend was away at work.
Police said the woman had been sick for a long time and the priest had been performing rituals for her.
