Killers vow to rout Movers

Batau Killers will be looking to beat ELB Movers to go into the Christmas recess on top of the Mpumalanga Vodacom League.

The two will clash on Saturday in a game pencilled for Mashishini Stadium in Lydenburg at 3pm.

Killers approach the game perched at the summit of the league with 32 points after 16 games while Movers are in positioned 13th with 16 points from 16 games.

Killers' Sipho Langa said: "We want to consolidate our position on top of the log going into recess. To do that we need to beat Movers at all costs."

He added that they were not reading too much into Movers' bad form.

"We are going to give them the respect they deserve while looking for maximum points," said Langa. Other fixtures:

Emjindini: Barberton City Stars v Secunda Stars; Lydenburg: Walter Stars v FC Henemat; Lynnville: FC Spurs v FC Benfica; Kriel: Mighty Mega Force v Winners; Yorkcor: Yorkcor United v Middelburg Saints; Kwazanele: Manchester United v Aces Academy; Sekhkhune: Sekhukhune Masters v Ehlanzeni Barcelona. All games kickoff at 3pm.

Wellington Ngcobo, Vodacom League coordinator, said the league will go into recess after the weekend's games.
