"It is good to see that justice has been served. The senseless killing of honest workers in our country remains a thorny issue," said Fedusa's secretary general, Dennis George.

Hlokohloko Primary School principal Anton Mathenjwa, 43, and his two hired hitmen, Bhekani Gumede, 32, and Thulani Qwabe, 37, were convicted on Monday of murdering two Jozini teachers - Boniswe Mathenjane, 34, and Phindile Ntuli, 34, on March 14.

Mathenjwa had paid the hitmen R2000 each for the murders. - Sapa
