Recent floods at the Southern Cape coast has caused damage worth about R600million, but tourism bodies say the natural disaster will not dampen tourism during the festive season.

The Eastern Cape Tourism Board chief executive, Naledi Burwana-Bisiwe, said the board was expecting 3,3million domestic and 528 000 international visitors during December.
