The South African Under-20 national squad and their Botswana counterparts meet in a Group A decider in the Metropolitan Cosafa Under-20 Championship at KaNyamazane Stadium at 3pm today.

Amajita need only a draw to go through to the next stage.

Both sides are tied on six points after two games but Amajita lead the pack on goal difference.

The South African squad are favourites to go through to the knockout stages, judging by their splendid performance when they walloped Mauritius 5-0 on Monday at KaBokweni Stadium.

They have not yet conceded a goal in the tournament after beating Botswana 1-0 in their opening encounter.

Botswana beat Mauritius 2-0 in their opening match and pipped Lesotho 2-1 on Monday.

"We need to beat Botswana to ensure that we are through to the knockout stages," said Amajita coach Serame Letsoaka.

South Africa's sensational Thulani Ngcepe scored the only goal of the match when they beat Lesotho 1-0.

He was rested for Monday's encounter after getting a knock on the knee against Lesotho.

Zimbabwe is the only country that has already booked its place in the semifinals after winning two games in Group D that comprises three teams.

Results:

Group B: Zambia 7, Seychelles 1; Namibia 1, Angola 1

Group C: Swaziland 0, Malawi 0.

Group D: Zimbambwe 4, Comoros 0
