Orlando Pirates scored three easy goals against a game Thanda Royal Zulu 3-1 in an Absa Premiership thriller at Johannesburg Stadium yesterday.

Bucs' opener was struck by Bennett Chenene who capitalised on a defensive blunder in the 56th minute.

The second came through the on-form forward Excellent Walaza who beat an off-side trap to beat a befuddled Aime Kitenge from close-range

Substitute Paulus Masehe scored the third in the 88th minute.

Royal Zulu were reduced to 10 men when referee Thabo Nkosi sent off Tshepo "Chesa Mpama" Mashishi after he slapped Chenene in the 62nd minute.

But this did not dampen the spirit of the visitors and they scored in the 76th minute through Serge Djiehoua.

l Ramastiyi Moholoa reports that Jomo Cosmos registered a rare win over Moroka Swallows when they clipped the Birds' wings 3-1 at Germiston Stadium yesterday.

It was Ezenkosi's second win in 11 league games.

Cosmos dominated the proceedings and deserved the three points.

The first goal came in the fourth minute from the penalty spot that was converted by Anthony Laffor.
