The festival started on time, with female maskandi group Amatshitshi Amhlophe kicking off the show. The group was followed by another exciting group on stage, Ofeleba, who really warmed up the crowd.

Later, music fans saw groups such as Ama SAP and Abangani entertaining the music lovers with their good stage performance.

But, that was before the group of the moment, Shwi Nomtekhala, took to the stage and were received like heroes. The duo were given a standing ovation .
