His aim is to win the upcoming tour and has promised to give all the players an equal opportunity to showcase their talent.
The South Africans face Wales in a once-off Test in Cardiff on Saturday before heading for Twickenham in London where they face the Barbarians on December 1.
Despite the fact that the Boks will be missing up to 12 World Cup champions due to different reasons, White is confident the newcomers and recalled players will do the job.
The two-time World Cup champions' mentor was speaking to Sowetan in an interview on Friday in Sandton before their departure for the UK.
He has made it clear that his intention is to make the end of the year tour the best and most memorable one ever as coach of the national team before stepping down on December 31.
"The rest of my contract finishes off on December 31, and as it stands now, there is nothing formal that I have agreed upon.
But there are obviously opportunities that are available," said White, the International Rugby Board's Coach of the Year .
Loose-forward Hilton Lobberts r of the Bulls, has promised to give his best shot if given the chance to play.
"It is a great honour to be in the national squad," said Lobberts during their last training session on Friday.
Victory over Wales will ensure SA end the year in the number one spot on the IRB's ranking list.
But a defeat in Cardiff will push second-placed New Zealand to the top.
