The case of a self-confessed rapist was postponed again in the Protea magistrate's court in Soweto yesterday.
Paul Mofokeng, 26, is accused of kidnapping and repeatedly raping a six-year-old girl from Mofolo, Soweto.
He allegedly raped her in his shack over two days.
A high court date was not available and he will appear in court again on December 28.
The child was due to have a womb operation at Chris Hani-Baragwanath Hospital on Monday but was turned back .
Her mother said: "They told us that the doctors who had examined her the first time were not available. We will return to the hospital next Wednesday." Sibongile Mashaba
