A house full sign is likely to go up before the end of the week for the much anticipated Soweto derby between Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs on November 24.

Tickets are already on sale at Computicket outlets for a game that is likely to attract one of the biggest audiences for a local match.

It is undoubtedly a first in the history of the Premier Soccer League that this derby will be broadcast live across Europe on Eurosport 2 in more than 43 countries to more than 22,3 million households.

This historic encounter, which will be played a day before the preliminary draw for the Fifa World Cup spectacle, will also be watched by an estimated 3 000 delegates who will be in KwaZulu-Natal that weekend.

Pirates chairman Irvin Khoza said the game, rated among the 10 biggest derbies in the world, would generate intense excitement on the day.

"We can't underestimate the derby, because it will remain a derby. It never loses spark and excitement.

"The game will be broadcasted live by nine countries and that shows how important this game is," said Khoza.
