Ithemba Institute of Technology invites pupils in grades 10 to 12 to enrol for further education and training learning and teaching programmes.
The independent college that is led by visionary community worker and founding principal, Uzent Peters, is based in Tladi in Soweto.
Peters trains pupils to become mechanics, electricians, technicians and technologists.

Sowetan and the Aggrey Klaaste Nation Building Foundation "adopted" Ithemba as a part of the newspaper and foundation's youth development programmes portfolio.
Ithemba opened in January with 27 grade 10 pupils. It hopes to increase this number by 350 to 400 pupils by next January.
