Golfers and business people from different provinces are invited to come and take part in the Bells Golf Day at the Soweto Country Club in Pimville, Soweto tomorrow.

Sponsors representative Ali Xesha said the purpose was to raise funds for the club to be able to buy garden and golf equipment. He said the event was initially billed for the last week of October but was postponed because of torrential rains.

Tournament organiser Davies Diphoko said they were grateful to the sponsors. Green fee is R100 a golfer and that includes halfway house. Tee-off time is at 7am.

l West Orlando will hold their fundraising golf day at Killarney Country Club today. The event is part of the club's 30th anniversary celebrations. The tee-off will be a shotgun start at 11am.

The tournament will be followed by a dinner at Gold Reef City on Saturday night.

l Witbank Golf Club will also host a fundraising event at the club on Sunday. It will be an individual points system with the tee-off at 9am and the green fee will be R200. Call Francis Themane at 083-229- 8787.
