Musician, composer, adjudicator, actor and community veteran Francis Marema Reseleso was a loveable man who brought so much joy to many people.

Born on July 17 1930 at Teyateyaneng in Lesotho, Reseleso started his schooling at St Agnes, Bachache in 1937.

In 1949, at the age of 19, he moved to Johannesburg.

The same year he enrolled at Madibane High School in the then Western Native Township until 1954. His musical career took off at Jubilee School of Music in Eloff Street, Johannesburg the same year.

Reseleso ran music workshops at Mafeteng, Teyateyaneng, Khanyane and Mohales-hoek.

Years later he formed a police choir in Lesotho. Reseleso lived and breathed music, particularly choral music.
