It is with utter shame and disgust that I listen to Zwelinzima Vavi daily talking about who should be our next president.

It is with utter shame and disgust that I listen to Zwelinzima Vavi daily talking about who should be our next president.

Is Vavi a leader of the workers or JZ's spokesman? Why should the workers of South Africa, who earn so little, continue to pay someone who seems to have little interest in their daily issues at work and more interest in running Zuma's presidential campaign.

Is it not time that workers call a general council (if there is such a thing) of Cosatu and ask: Is Vavi a good leader?

Is Vavi a democrat or an anarchist who is using the workers' platform to insult the democratically elected president of both the ANC and the government?

If Vavi continues to lead South African workers, the working class struggle will perish and be worse than the myopic imperialism of the West, the entire African continent and the world.

The people of this country, who include the workers, have elected the current president and we cannot keep quiet when the president is attacked at every gathering that is called to boost Vavi' s political ambitions.
