A warrant of arrest has been issued against Black Leopards' player Christopher Netshidzivhe after the midfielder allegedly failed to pay maintenance for his child.
On Wednesday the Vuwani magistrate's court issued a warrant for the arrest of Netshidzivhe after he allegedly failed to pay a monthly maintenance fee of R700 for his love child.
It is alleged that the 27- year-old Netshidzivhe had fathered a child, Tshedza Netshidzivhe, with Chamaine Nedzingahe of Lwamondo near Thohoyandou.
Netshidzivhe currently owes R3500 in arrears, according to court documents.
The hearing for maintenance has been postponed to December 4 pending the arrest. - Chester Makana
