Cyprian "Mahala" Maimane, Witbank Spurs' coach, believes that Lady Luck has deserted his team.

Speaking after his side's fourth successive defeat (2-1 to Dynmamos), Maimane said: "If soccer was won on ball possession, we could be on top of the log. All the games we have played we have dominated but failed to find the back of the net."

The former goalkeeper coach of the national under-23 side dismisses talk that he is under mounting pressure after failing to register a single victory in the first four league games. He believes Sivutha Umllilo will bounce back.

"The boys are playing great football and once we start to win games we will continue from there," said Maimane.

Meanwhile, Dynamos are leading the pack with 10 points after four games.
