Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints tomorrow are invited the public to join a major clean-up exercise throughout South Africa and mainland Africa tomorrow.
The clean-up campaign includes clearing rubbish, painting, planting trees and grass and beautifying parks and playgrounds.
It is estimated the event Renew, Revive and Revitalise, could involve about 100000 people (mostly church members) volunteering about 400000 hours of community service, all in one special, historical day.
The organisers invite members and leaders of other churches and community organisations to join them and help promote a clean and healthy community environment - and renew interfaith relations, which are vital in building a united voice for positive change in South Africa and across Africa.
