This is a rather sombre post to express my condolences to Lucky Dube's family. I know too well the pain of losing a loved one.
Dube was a fellow countryman who lived life to the fullest. His effervescent personality and music brought smiles and laughter to people all around the world. Several times his music has made world news and caused world wide reaction.
I personally would put him on par with Nelson Mandela in personality and ability to make people feel free. He genuinely showed the true spirit of being African and was a true musical ambassador. Dube did what he wanted, and from that attitude he gained true success.
Let his life be a lesson to us all. Do what you want to the best of your ability and you will succeed. Love your life and all that you do and you will be a happy human being. Love mankind and they will love you back.
Dube died doing what he loved. His death was caused by heartless and ruthless criminals who are dangerous to human beings. Dube's death goes to show that we are not safe as long as the criminals are protected by the laws of the country.
My deepest condolences to Dube's family. My thoughts are with you and I pray that the Lord will give you the courage to heal this heavy burden
