Mamelodi Sundowns winger Dillon Sheppard is convinced that Golden Arrows' long period of inactivity will not be a factor when the two meet in a Premiership match tomorrow.

Sheppard reckons most people might expect the "Brazilians" to be lulled into a false sense of security, because in contrast to Arrows, Downs players have been getting plenty of match practice from participating in the Telkom Knockout and the Confederation Cup.

Golden Arrows last played a match on September 26, and tomorrow's match will be their first in 26 days.

The goal that Peter Ndlovu recently scored for Downs against CF Sfaxien has made those who thought he was over the hill sit up and take notice, and one of those is Arrows coach Manqoba Mngqithi.

"Ndlovu might just be their most dangerous player, but a team like Sundowns does not win the championship by relying on one or two players.

"We have a lot of work to do in this game," Mngqithi said.

l The league has announced that the match will be played at 6.30pm, to accommodate the Rugby World Cup final in which Amabhokobhoko will take on England.
