A timely recovery from a bout of flu has allowed Platinum Stars striker Hareaipha Marumo to make the starting 11 on Sunday against Kaizer Chiefs.
Simba makes his long-awaited return after a two-week lay-off, in a Premiership match at Olympia stadium in Rustenburg.
The "Tycoons" have found it difficult without Simba, losing their Telkom Knockout match against AmaZulu 0-1 in Durban.
The match was their first game under the tutelage of co-coaches Thierry Mulonzo and Allan Freese.
"I'm very confident about the Sunday match. I'm ready to showcase my best against a team I respect, but I fear no one. It has been sad watching us crashing out of the knockout, but it is still up to us to rectify our mistakes and move on," Marumo said.
Marumo played down the massive role he has at Stars, choosing to praise his teammates for helping him soar in the past couple of months.
" I will be nothing without them, and they have stood by me lots of times," he said.
Marumo is confident that the sense of shock and loss that followed Owen da Gama's departure has gone from their camp.
Collen Makgopela, if chosen ahead of the likes of Phumudzo Manenzhe, will obviously look to Marumo for guidance.
Michael Khaile might miss this match because of a severe allergy infection.
