A Limpopo school teacher accused of stealing computers from his school made a brief appearance in the Giyani magistrate's court yesterday.

Gezani Thomas Sithole, 38, a teacher at Mukula High School in Xawela village outside Giyani, was arrested on Friday.

Sithole was not asked to plead and was released on R1000 bail. The case has been postponed to November 13.

According to police spokesman in the Giyani area Superintendent Moatshe Ngoepe, the computers were allegedly stolen in August. Teachers at the school only noticed last week that the computers were missing. They subsequently opened a case of theft.
