I am inspired by Richard Maponya, who kept his promise of building his own shopping centre. Glory be to God - He spared Maponya so he could see his dream realised. And like all real, genuine dreams, it's been blood, sweat and tears.
This serves as a lesson for all of us as up-coming entrepreneurs. The country is a gold mine of opportunities these days. The likes of Ntate Maponya never had so many chances in the 1950s and 1960s, and we thank God he gave them endurance. Maponya kept his focus on the dream of owning a mall for 28 long years. Old man you are an inspiration.
