Boxing SA's healthy financial audit report has brought about changes in the head office at Nasrec.

Long-serving administrators Loyiso Mtya, Gugu Radebe and Daphney Hobyane have been given permanent employment.

Mtya and Radebe have also been promoted to more senior positions.

Their contracts had been renewed every three months.

Mtya had been the public relations officer and Radebe had been the general administrator.

Mtya is now the director of operations and his responsibility is the core functioning of boxing. The public relations job has already been advertised. But it has now been termed the director of communications and marketing.

Radebe joins chief executive Bongani "Mr Fix It" Khumalo as the executive assistant, while Hobyane is the receptionist.

Jos Steyn, who had been acting chief financial officer (CFO), has been employed as the financial officer while Boxing SA is still searching for a CFO.

Henry Motsepe is the financial and administration clerk, Nomsa Mdluli is the technical assistant, Dineo Seleke becomes the project coordinator while Majoree Thebe is the general administrator.

Khumalo confirmed these new appointments but would not say anything about remuneration.

He said Boxing SA is looking for an IT officer as well as four full-time provincial representative (formerly known as service providers) for the Gauteng, Eastern Cape, Western Cape and KwaZulu-Natal provinces.

Boxing SA expects these posts to be filled before the end of next month.
