Government has unveiled the terms of reference for the probe into the fitness to hold office of suspended Scorpions boss Vusi Pikoli, with the focus likely to fall on Pikoli's investigation into the alleged criminal activities of National Police Commissioner Jackie Selebi and his alleged crime-lord friend Glenn Agliotti.

Government spokesman Themba Maseko would not confirm whether the Selebi case will be part of the inquiry, saying that the head of the inquiry, the former speaker of the national assembly Frene Ginwala, will decide which cases will form part of the probe. The inquiry was ordered by President Thabo Mbeki last week.
